Europe is Expected to Have the Worst Winter in the Last 1000 Years

If we hoped for a soft winter, a warning from Polish meteorologists gives us creeps. They believe this winter will be the coldest in the last 1000 years.

In the 2010-2011 we can freeze more than ever.

The La Nina is still currently establishing itself, however this is generally influential in terms of the change in global weather patterns, locations like the UK that tend to be wet will become wetter. It would therefore be adequate to suggest more precipitation in the UK this winter, combine this with the expected below average temperatures and increased cloud cover from low solar activity and heavy snowfalls are also plausible.

On the basis of last years correct winter forecast that only took into account the low solar activity and a reported slowdown of the gulf stream, it would be adequate to suggest the need for a severe winter forecast or weather warning for the UK and Northern Europe during 2010/11 to raise vital awareness, as it could prove to be far more severe than the one just experienced on the basis of this study
